Lori K. Lewellen – Principal and Managing Partner of HR Projects Pro, LLC.

Lori is an accomplished and senior-certified human resources professional with years of experience in leading organizations to implement cost-effective and efficient HR programs. While her primary focus is on new business development for HR Projects Pro, she also engages in client assignments and enjoys bringing more practical and logical solutions to her clients. She has a breadth of experience working for and with clients on the Fortune 500 list, as well as experience consulting with non-profit and small to mid-size employers.

In addition to her HR life, Lori’s an active advocate for individuals with disabilities and to ensure continuation of care for those who may be less fortunate. She services on several committees and boards dedicated to the advancement in this field. Lori also remains active in leadership roles with her state SHRM council and HR Projects Pro, LLC is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce.

Lori is a business program graduate of International Business College, the VSC Leadership Institute and Leadership Columbus. She has her SPHR and SCP designations and currently services as the Arrangements Chair for the 2020 Ohio SHRM Conference.

Larry M. Lewellen -- Partner of HR Projects Pro, LLC.

A seasoned executive with an MBA in Finance and undergraduate degree in business management/human resources and successful and extensive experience in both private and public sector. Focused on the development and execution of human resources strategies tied to business objectives, culture and leadership development; and optimization of the human resources structure, function, talent and connections.

Larry is a consultant with the Registry for College & University Presidents. The Registry provides interim presidents and vice presidents on a contractual basis for colleges and universities across the country upon request; Larry’s most recent assignment was with Brandeis University in Boston as Interim VPHR, where he put the HR function on a new path, recruited a highly talented ongoing VPHR, and led a series of projects and proposals. Prior to that he was with the University of Maine as interim Chief HR Officer, reorganizing HR and integrating within the System, and recruiting a highly- talented VPHR. He is also currently engaged with Optimized Care Network in employer health solutions and health system extended care solutions, with a passion for improving health care delivery and outcomes. This draws upon a full year of innovation training and five years as a vice president in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focused on healthcare transformation.

Larry was employed for ten years with a Fortune 1000 electronics firm in human resources and in organizational performance and served on the corporate human resources steering committee for setting strategy on an international level. He then moved to Ohio State University to pursue an MBA in Finance and to accept employment in the office of Human Resources. His HR career at Ohio State spanned 29 years, with 14 years as the Vice President and Chief HR Officer for the overall university. Not only leading an extremely complex human resources function for a national research university, Larry gained broad business and leadership experience in ventures such as co-leading statewide pension, healthcare and public sector employment reform, undertaking significant work on organizational performance at the cabinet and board level, and serving as the oversight official for an affiliated corporation providing healthcare to 65,000 faculty, staff, and dependents. During his career at Ohio State, he gained experience in all facets of human resources operations, services and leadership, including wellness, compensation, executive compensation, benefits, talent, employee relations, labor negotiations, management information, PeopleSoft projects, leadership development, strategic planning, pension reform, and leading enterprise-wide culture transformation.

Larry earned his MBA in Finance from The Ohio State University (Weidler Scholar) and B.S. in Business Management (Human Resources) from Indiana University.
